Danny needed some space, he went taboo with friends after a very long time and if his mother was getting so anxious then she could have called to check. Also, Dannys mother had not slept the accurate night, so she should not have initiated the conversation and should have waited till a more appropriate time to start the discussion. Both Danny and his mother also move over a face-threatening act which made their arguments more intense. Dannys mother had no need to taunt Danny about the fact that his parents do not seek rent, hunt down him for free and so forth because such statements can hurt a persons emotions, even if they are unintentional. Conversely, Danny should have just tried to attend and appreciate his mothers concern instead of retaliating because it was his negligence in the first place tha t became the cause of his mothers anxiety.
